What animals do you raise?

We started the farm raising different breeds of chickens and have expanded greatly. Chickens:Ayam Cemani- All black chicken where we are breeding for black vent, nails, combs, and mouth. We are looking for a gamey stance with smooth tail feathers. BBS Brahmas- Black, Blue, and Splash Brahams We are breeding for large docile birds with full leg feathering. BBS Marans- Black, Blue, and Splash Marans We are breeding for dark egg lines and docile birds. We are working towards SOP. Olive Eggers- We are currently working on F1 olive eggers (Marans/Ameraucana) F2 olive eggers (Marans/legbars backcrossed to Marans) We are hoping to add Austrolorps and Sumantras in the coming year. Our youngest is hoping to start his own lines of paint silkies.TurkeysNarraganset turkeys- Our main goal is docile friendly birds than SOPPigsKunekune pigs- Our main goal is docile, good mothers, easy births, and fast growers. Hoping to add sheep in the near future.

How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through our website by adding items to your cart and checking out. If you have questions before ordering, you can also reach out through our contact form or social media and we’ll help you choose the right birds.

Do you offer local pickup or delivery?

Accepted Answer

We typically meet at the Walmart in Gallipolis, Ohio. We can meet at other locations but you must contact us before placing an order and arrange meet up.

How should I prepare for bringing birds home?

Accepted Answer

We recommend a pet carrier with bedding in the bottom for picking up your new birds. If you must use a box, make sure it has lots of air holes and you do not place the box near car vents. Birds can overheat easily. Once home we recommend you add sugar or electrolytes to room temperature water.  Once birds leave our care, their health depends heavily on how they are housed and managed. What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We have a 24-hour refund window. If there is a problem with your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with a description of the issue. Photos or videos may be required. After 24 hours, we cannot offer refunds, credits, or replacements because we can’t control housing, feed, temperature, or exposure to other animals once the birds leave our farm.

What if a bird gets sick or dies after I bring it home?

We’re truly sorry when this happens, but after 24 hours we cannot be responsible for losses, injuries, or deaths. Many factors outside our control such as housing, feed, temperature, stress, and exposure to other animals. All can affect a bird’s health. We’re happy to offer general care tips, but refunds or replacements are not available after the 24-hour window.

Do you offer advice on care?

Yes. We’re happy to share basic care tips and our own experience with housing, feed, and flock management. We are not veterinarians, so our advice is based on farm experience only. For serious health concerns, please contact a qualified vet.

How can I contact you if I have a problem with my order?

If there’s an issue, please reach out within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. You can contact us through the website contact form, email lbhf740@gmail.com, or our social media pages. Include your name, order details, and photos or videos (if necessary and not of deceased animals) if possible so we can review and respond quickly.
